What’s the job?
It’s a combination between a pure project manager and a functional analyst for the development of custom software projects:
- You’ll start exploring the customer’s request for a proper project definition. You’ll define the customer’s needs in terms of scope and specifications and align this with the Lesterius co-creation approach.
- Furthermore you’ll provide the account manager with full project details on scope, documents, timing and resources in order to allow for a detailed quotation to the customer and to support the Account Manager with the required input during offer iterations.
- After customers agreement you’ll manage the project execution within the boundaries of the quotation estimate and set up the project planning.
- You are in between the customer and the colleagues – developers to follow up the deliverables and keep the account manager, business unit manager and customer stakeholders up to date on how the project is evolving.
Are you who we are looking for?
You have the ability to listen, to analyse, to negotiate and to get things done in time.
You’re capable of understanding how a customer’s business is organized, how to identify the real and the hidden needs.
Once the project identified, you’re the person that will translate this into a plan and convince the customer about the approach.
You act as the gatekeeper managing the balance between project scope, budget and deadline. You plan, manage and supervise the resources allocated to your project and above all you keep everyone focused and highly engaged.
You’ll be reporting to and working closely with the Belgian business unit manager.
You’re perfectly bilingual in Dutch and English, and a very good knowledge of French is a plus.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a consulting/analyst role or as a project manager.
Any experience with Claris-FileMaker, the low code platform that is at the centre of everything we develop, is a plus.

In the beginning you’ll be working predominantly in Belgium. We expect you to work from the office one to two days a week, in Ghent or Brussels, otherwise mostly from home or from time to time on site for some customers.
