Frequently Asked Questions

1. What didactic material is made available to the participants?

The manual and the practical files are made available to the student in digital form.

The manual contains short and clear chapters with theory and assignments.
For each chapter, the teacher first explains with examples. After that, the participants work independently on an assignment in the lab file, where the teacher is available for help and questions. Finally, the teacher carries out the assignment centrally with possible alternatives and extra tips.

2. On what basis were the different courses developed?

All our courses are developed on the basis of the FileMaker Training Series and are translated to our European needs. In addition, on the basis of the projects they have realized themselves, our teachers have developed various exercises that have been collected in a practical file.

3. How many participants are admitted per course?

For didactic reasons we try to limit the number of participants to a maximum of eight. Usually there are four to six participants per course.

4. Do you work with the Belgian 'KMO-portefeuille'?

Yes, our registration number is DV.O244439.

For more information, you can always visit the website of the Flemish government (www.kmo-portefeuille.be).

5. Can I cancel or reschedule my registration and what are the consequences?

If a course is canceled within a period of 29 to 15 working days before the start, 50% of the course amount will be charged. If a course is canceled after this period, or if the participant does not show up, 100% of the course amount will be charged.

No costs will be charged for shifts to the next course up to 15 days before the start of the course. Between 14 days and three working days before the start of the course, 25% of the course price will be charged. After this period, 50% of the course price will be charged. Once rescheduled courses cannot be rescheduled or canceled again.

Cancellations and shifts can only be made in writing (by letter or e-mail) and must be in our possession for the above periods. In case of special circumstances, Lesterius can deviate in a positive way from this regulation, all this at the discretion of Lesterius. We also accept substitutes for registered participants who cannot attend.

We reserve the right to cancel or cancel a training depending on whether there are enough participants. A training is confirmed as soon as there are enough participants. At the latest one week before the training you will be informed whether or not it will take place.

If there is insufficient interest, you will be given the choice to participate in a subsequent training or get your money back.

Lesterius is not liable for costs or damage resulting from the cancellation of a training.

6. Can I get proof of participation in a training?

Each participant will receive a certificate of participation after the training. This is handed over by the teacher. If you have not received this, you can still request it via our contact form.
